From my 5 year old, Booba …

“Daddy when you puke, puke is another word for throw-up, you should go to the bathroom.”

It is funny that we should have been talking about that yesterday since Princess Drama Queen barfed as we were leaving the gym yesterday, then afer bedtime Booba barfed in her bed. She then barfed many more times. One time she was sitting on the toilet hugging the pink wastebasket. That was so cute and pitiful all at the same time. I put her back to bed and put the pink bucket next to her bed. I told her, “It’s incase you puke, puke is another word for throw-up.”

Looking at me in all seriousness, “I know.”

I wont go into what PDQ left in the sink for me to clean up on my way out to work this morning. Needless to say it was a very long night.

Now for the fun stuff:

nbcam_pink_ribbon_copy.gifI have been so busy that I almost forgot that this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I love breasts. Really I do. Big, small, saggy, whatever, they all have a charm about them. So please ladies take good care of them, have them checked, and check them for yourself often.

To promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month I will be showing off photos (sent in by you, and/or taken by me) of my favorite feminine parts. For each image I will donate $2.00 (or in last years parlance a buck-a-boob) to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month organization (NBCAM) Since they don’t solicit donations directly and they have had such an enormous impact on the whole awareness movement that is where my donation will go.

Please, send me your boobs, or in the case of you locals (that includes you too lovely wife), set up a shoot.

Update: I guess I forgot to mention that submitted pictures will be posted “anonymous” if you request it, and there is no requirement that skin be exposed. This is a rated “R” site so if you wish to show them in all their glory please feel free.

Also Mackey is doing her part by once again sponsoring a “Moob” picture for Breast Cancer Awareness (Where you will be able to see mine!)

Update #2: Apparently I am am moron. I didn’t have my e-mail address posted until just now. It is on the left just under the NBCAM logo. Sorry ladies. It is a true testament to their commitment since I have my first image and it came second hand. Thanks Mackey for the forward. I’ll post this weeks images on friday with a whole recap on the 31st.

Weekend review

Labor day, as I understand it is the day to celebrate all your hard labor throughout the year, and not spending three days humping crap out of the garage, going to the dump, building a shed, going through all the crap from the garage, having a turkey dinner/birthday party, fixing an overflowing condensation drain on the AC unit, and all the regular family and weekend stuff. My lovely wife and I were in motion almost all of the time we were awake for the entire three days.

I hope that your weekend was more relaxing. I am glad to be back to work today so that I can rest. I do have one (maybe two) more trips to the dump and then I will be able to park my car in the garage too!

On the plus side, I now have possession of my telescope tripod again, and my cpap machine, which I have started using again. Maybe this time it will not be so annoying. One of my friends also uses a cpap machine and my wife asked me to talk to him to see if he had any tips. I asked him about it and he didn’t really have any tips, but did tell me that while wearing the mask you can blow a whistle for a really long time! I had to laugh at the image of him driving his wife nuts by having a whistle going for several minutes.

Needless to say my WWC entry is going to be late. In the meantime, what do you think of my new masthead?

This week I had to hit the archives. While I had a few ideas of what to shoot, I just never got around to shooting any of it. Enjoy.

The plus part … Holy crap what a busy weekend. Saturday was non-stop, and Sunday we rode around the airport again (and didn’t get lost). H says it is 14 miles, my ODO said 10, but I am pretty sure it is not configured for my size wheels. With all that exercise one might think that I dropped a couple pounds. Um, no. I gained 4. WTF over? I was eating reasonably well, and not skipping any meals, so I reiterate WTF?

I hope that this is only a “muscle is heavier than fat” thing and with the added muscle mass I will burn calories faster and the ripped dude under the layer of pudge will once again reign.

HMS Friday! & Bed update

Posted on March 14th, 2008 in health, HMS Friday, Random thoughts, sleep (or the lack thereof), weight by g-man || 17 Comments

(I know Dana will be happy to see the title of this post :)

It seems that we are back to a normal routine today and as such can continue with Hot Monkey Sex Friday. To any new readers this is a weekly (or whenever there is nothing else pressing to interfere with it) post with a frank discussion on human sexuality. Usually We will have a topic and and a question at the end for you to ponder and comment on as you see fit.

So we got our new Tempur-pedic bed last weekend. I had such high hopes that it would eliminate my lower back pain and provide such a good sleeping posture that I would no longer snore, and therefor not be kicked in the middle of the night by my lovely wife, and therefore get a full nights sleep which would leave me completely rested and rejuvenated. The results were not as dramatic as I had hoped. I continue to wake up with lower back pain from a ruptured disc, but it is not as bad as it had been, and the rest of my back is much better in the morning. I still snore, but not as bad (H can confirm or deny this one). So all-in-all a good purchase, I will continue to hit the gym and watch what I eat and all that in the hopes of further improving my sleep/pain issues.

Of course being consenting vibrant young adults and having a new bed, well one needs to make sure it works under varying conditions. (wink) We “broke it in” the other night and since had another “session”. I must say it is a good platform for the aerobatics “hot monkey sex”. It is supreme for that post coital melting into the bed and going to sleep cuddling.

So that brings me to this weeks topic. What to do after the intercourse? Do you like to cuddle, chat, sleep, get a sandwich, do it again? Personally I am a sleeper. It doesn’t matter what time of day, afterwards I like to close my eyes basking in the afterglow, feeling my lovely wife’s body close to me and drift off to sleep. Fortunately for me our alone time only comes after the kids are in bed, so sleep is usually the next item on the agenda for us.

How about you, what do you do after?
